Bungalow House Plans, Home Designs, and Floor Plans
Bungalows style house plans are most often associated with "Craftsman" homes, but are certainly not limited to that particular architectural style. Bungalows generally have a compact, solid, horizontal look, often with low-slung roofs, front or side gables, and asymmetrical front porches. The Bungalow style is often thought of as having a small floor plan, simply because many of them were, in the height of their popularity during the earlier years of the 20th century. In recent years, Bungalows home plans have enjoyed renewed popularity, primarily due to their presence in Traditional Neighborhood Developments.
