Square, Arched, or Cathedral Raised Panel Cabinet Doors and Recessed Panel Cupboard Doors
Besides kitchen appliances, the most obvious part of any kitchen is the cabinetry. Your choice in cabinet frames and doors is a very important step in designing your dream home. If you are building a new home, try to plan ahead and find the type of cabinetry that best suits your home including the style of your home, and the space requirements your kitchen needs. Bathrooms are another important setting for cabinetry and cabinet doors. If you are a do it yourself builder or designer, use our links to help find the look you want and the steps it will take for you to build your own cabinets or make your own cabinet doors.

Cabinet doors are available in different styles such as raised panel cabinets, recessed panel cabinets, and flat panel cabinet doors. This describes the look of the cabinet door. Recessed cabinet panels are cut into the surface of the wood and can have just simple routing, elaborate designs, or glass panel inserts. Raised panel cabinet doors are lifted out from the surface of the cabinet door and can also have a number of design features. Flat panel doors have a flat surface overall, but can have some designs etched on the surface. Other design features include Square cabinet doors, Arched cabinet doors, and Cathedral style cabinet doors. Doors are usually constructed of woods such as maple, oak, pine, hickory, cherry, or MDF (medium density fiberboard). Wooden cabinet doors can be either painted or stained to design preferences. Some cupboard doors are made of glass or have glass inserts as well. Whether you are interested in building your own cabinet doors, or buying cabinet doors, we have many resources available for you to make the best decision.
