Bathroom Sinks, Vanity Sinks, and Pedestal Sinks for your Bathroom
Your bathroom sink can add a vibrancy and flair to your bathroom or balance your design style with a number of options such as placement, color, and style. Depending on your needs you can choose from several design styles such as bathroom countertop sinks similar to a kitchen countertop sink, except that the basin is smaller and more for personal hygiene. The sink basin can be constructed from many materials from copper, cast iron, porcelain, glass, or some composite materials. Countertop sinks usually have storage drawers and cabinets and can come in several different countertop selections, such as marble, granite, tile, Corian or other solid surface material, Formica, or basically any other countertop surface. Countertop sinks can have a single basin or some can include his / hers double sink top. These sinks usually have room to accommodate a bathroom vanity including a mirror and vanity lighting. Bathroom vanities can be large and gaudy or small and precise. Vanity mirrors are usually affixed to the wall but also can be attached to the countertop similar to a bedroom style vanity. For smaller bathrooms or bathrooms for minimalists, consider a pedestal sink for your bathroom. These sink basins are elevated with a pedestal and can be attached to the wall or can be freestanding. These sinks can have many different design options and can resemble Greco-Roman columns or offer more contemporary design features.
