Vinyl siding is fairly easy to install and the installation of vinyl siding can be performed by a vinyl siding installer at a low cost compared to other exterior siding products. It is true that vinyl siding will last a very long time with minimal maintenance and that it is not in itself susceptible to insect invasion but there are hidden concerns that can easily be investigated and confirmed with a few simple searches. You should also be aware that Vinyl is made from a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) plastic resin that is known to cause cancer in humans. Although vinyl may be safe while it is on your home, many scientists believe that manufacturing and disposing vinyl is hazardous to our health and to the environment.
