Q:I really like this plan and would build on a crawl, where would be the furnace and hot water heater placed?
A:The location of the furnace, hot water heater and all other utilities is up to you and your plumbing/HVAC contractor. Typically with a crawl space they are placed either in the garage or attic.

The exterior columns on the porch are structural. The interior columns at the Living Room / Foyer are not.
