Previous Q & A
Previous Questions and Answers
Q:Is there no attic or attic access? In Texas virtually all a/c fan coil units are installed in the attic.
A:There is some attic space that a horizontal HVAC unit could be placed in the attic. Access to the attic is per your local code requirements. Probably a pull down staircase in the Bedroom ceiling or Family Room.

Q:Is there attic space anywhere in this plan for an heating a/c unit?
A:Most folks that build these smaller type plans are using “Mini Splits” these are very economical to operate and can be located most anywhere. If you are using a forced air furnace then it probably would need to be located in the storage area in the garage. You would need to leave out a portion of the closet to be able to side the furnace in the slot and slide the closet door down some.
