Previous Q & A
Previous Questions and Answers
Q:What’s the ceiling height in the great room?
A:The ceiling height in the Great Rm is 16'-6 1/8"
Q:Hello, If we elect to choose the 2x6 exterior wall option how much does this reduce the overall square footage? Thank you, Marty
A:Hi Marty, This plan is designed with 2" x 6" exterior walls, and 2" x 4" interior walls. There are not alternative options with this plan.
Q:can you give me the measurements of the kids loft upsets please its not on the prints ??? Thank You Sarah
A:8' x 15'4
Q:Hi, I love this house, but have a question. The square footage is listed as 761 for the second floor. Based on the room dimesions shown, it adds up to quite a bit less than 761. Is 761 a correct, or is it a typo?
Another question: Could there be access from the 2nd floor WIC into above the garage attic storage? If so, approximately what would the ceiling height be in that attic? Thanks again.
Thanks... Brian Rider
A:The Second Floor square footage listed is correct at 761 s.f., note that it does include the Kid's Loft area as well as the 2 Bedrooms, Bath and Closets.
You could access space above the garage which would have a part slanted ceiling and middle height of 8'.
Q:I am looking at plan #94178 (06WEB)and have a few questions before making a decision. 1. Is ther any way I can see the roof plan ? I already purchased a plan to find out that the roof framing was very complex and could not be prefabricated (had to be hand framed) it would cost me a fortune to get that house framed. Just to look at this plan, it seems like I would be able to have trusses pre-fabbed without much difficulty (not too cut up), but that's what I thought about the last one. 2. Can you give me the dimensions of the master bathroom, master walk-in closet, and laundry room ?
A:The roof of the main house (with a 9/12 pitch) and garages are trussed . The front porch roof is rafter framed.
MBedroom is 11'2 x 12'
MWI Closet is 17' x 6'
Laundry Rm is 13'6 x 9'
Q:Where does the stairs in the single garage lead to?
A:The stairs in the garage lead down to the basement. This enhances the home by not having to go into the first floor to access the basement.
