Rowhouse Revival
This home takes what we love about traditional neighborhood architecture and blends it with an open plan and modern spaces to create a hybrid that works for today’s families much better than the original did. The entry opens onto the spacious open plan of the main level, comprising the octagonal formal dining room, kitchen/breakfast area, and family room. In the family room, doors leading to the rear deck flank the fireplace, creating a nice balance. A peninsula bar extending into the breakfast nook separates the family room from the kitchen. A large pantry in the laundry room adds to the kitchen’s efficiency. On the 951-square-feet upper level, the master bedroom claims the entire octagonal space within the upper bay. Its large walk-in closet and five-piece master bath round out the suite. Two secondary bedrooms, one with its own walk-in closet, share a full bath. Ideal for a narrow lot, this home packs in a lot of living space. For outdoor enjoyment, the home includes a graceful front porch and a rear deck. This home is designed with a basement foundation.
