A: Good Afternoon,
The walls on the second floor between the loft and attic are about 6 1/2 feet tall. The ceilings then slope up to 8' and flatten out. I do show an attic access panel from the loft to attic spaces because they are required by code. If you are thinking about capturing that attic space for additional storage you will need to have larger access panels and will need to inform your truss supplier so they can design the attic trusses accordingly.
