Q:my zoning area requires no more than 20 feet high. what is this?
A:Thank you for your interest in design 59475.
This plan is currently drawn with a building height of 25’-3”. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Q:What is the ceiling and outside wall heights on the upper floor.
A:The top plate height of the second floor is 8’ tall. This height is maintained for most of the loft and the office space, however there are two sections of the loft along the wall shared by the office that slope down to a 4’-4” high wall. One section is the side of the loft just on the other side of the storage closet in the office and the other is in the bathroom along the back wall.
Q:Is this plan suitable to be built in whistler area canada, with its heavy snow loads? What snow loads is it capable of; (including the deck)?
A:This garage is currently designed with a roof live load of 65psf and a deck live load of 60psf. We can go through and review the garage for heavy snow loads. Simply reply to this email with the required loading for Whistler and we can provide you with a quote for reviewing this design.
