Q:I AM A BUILDING CONTRACTOR IN CLARKSVILLE VA ON KERRLAKE. I HAVE A CUSTOMER WHO IS CONSIDERING THIS PLAN (65368) AND WE NEED TO KNOW IF ACCESS TO THE BASEMENT IS ONLY THRU THE GARAGE? THE BASEMENT WILL WALKOUT ON THE REAR ELEVATION AND WILL EVENTUALLY BE FINISHED . CHARLIE
A:The access to the basement is from the garage only at this moment.
The basement part for this plan is in the front. The back part of the house is a crawlspace, not a walkout

Q:Can I build with slab on grade? If so where does the mechanical room go.In th garage? Access to the the bonus is via the garage or as the plan shows via the upstairs bedroom?. If I am looking nat cost to build and I am in Northern Ontario, what region do I use. Thanks Steve
A:This plan can be built on any type of foundation. The mechanical would most probably be located where the staircase to the basement is. You access the bonus room via the master bedroom. If you would like to get a cost to build for your area, you can contact local builders, they will be able to provide you with this infomation.
