Q:How many yards of concrete would be required to build this basement at 9ft with 10 inch walls? Thank you, Kevin
A:Concrete material quantities are completely dependent on site conditions. Consult with your builder to estimate exact quantities for your project.
Q:What is the total square footage to include the bonus area? Also can about 2 ft be added to the back porch in the plan?
A:The total heated area is 2395....if you finish the bonus room as well, this number increases by 546 to 2941. Footage can certainly be added to the rear porch....just click the "Modifications" link to inquire about a timeline and price.
Q:If we want to purchase this plan; what I need to know is the length across front, each side, etc to make sure it will fit on the place we want to put.
A:Width and depth are shown on the website under the "Specifications" tab.

Depth shown is the total depth from front of master bedroom to rear of garage. Depth from front of front porch to rear of rear porch is 47'-10"
Q:Do the windows above the front door allow light into the foyer?
A:No...these are for appearance only.
Q:If I choose slab foundation, is the foundation under the covered porch?
A:All areas on the plan have a foundation.
Q:Can the Great Room ceiling be vaulted?
A:The ceiling could be vaulted but would require a modification to the plans. The fee would be $395 and our current lead time is 5-7 weeks. This is likely an easy change for your builder to make as well.
Q:I purchased this set of plans. Our contractor noticed on the electrical layout. It doesn't show the plug and switch placement. Is this something extra or just not included on the plan.
A:The plugs are shown, but switches are not. These are to be located by the owner with the electrician based on the owner's preferences.
