Q:What type of foundation would need to be poured for a 3 car garage with an apartment above it? Also for this plan. Can the garage part be flipped so the bay doors are on the left with the rest of the house remaining the same. Are foundation plans included in the cost? Thanks.
A:This Garage/Apartment is designed with a slab & stem-wall foundation and yes, the foundation plan is included in the plans. The garage door can be flipped to the other side but there would be a plan change fee to do that. Moving the doors affects the floor plan, foundation plan, elevations and electrical plan.
