HousePlans are designed to meet International Residential Code (IRC) and CABO. Some local and regional building code departments require additional information. Please verify what is acceptable in your area. Many times house plans can be marked with the upgrades necessary to meet these local codes. Re producibles are available if you wish to make these changes prior to final printing.

Previous Q & A
Previous Questions and Answers
Q:In the loft is the ceiling high enough to finish as a efficiency apartment? Or will it have the knee high walls with slanted roof?
A:Walls on the sides are 4’ high. There will be an 8’ flat ceiling through the center. You might consider a couple of alternative garages that show an apartment above for more detail. Look at 80249. Garage doors can be moved to the end like the original choice.
