Q: I am interested in purchasing garage plan 45131. I just had a question about the second floor and on the layout it has “sloped ceiling” in the 4 corners. Are you able to tell me the height of that slope? Specifically where the slope is at the top of the stairs. Concerned about the height there of hitting your head on the ceiling going/up down the stairs.

A: Good afternoon, The short walls on the second floor are 6’-8” tall (the same height as a typical door) and the ceiling slopes up to eight feet. There is not a head room issue above the stairs.

Q: Good day Due to small modifications I need to make to the plan 45131 I would like to order CAD file of this plan and would like to know if I can get AutoCAD dwg format in version that is compatible with my AutoCAD 2009. I would also like to know if your material list is in the form of the Excel spreadsheet and if is linked with the drawings by using the Data Extraction wizard. Thank you for our assistance.

A: The CAD file will be a .DWG file and you should be able to open it. The material list is not in a spread sheet tied to the program.
