Q:The tub in the master bath, is it considered "oversized"?
A:Hello, No, the master tub is 36"x60".. Not oversized. The toilet space could be shifted into the closet a foot, if you want a 72" tub unit.

Q:Are all the ceilings throughout the house 9'? Where is the water heater located? Do you have a crawlspace version of this plan?
A:Hello, See plan 59936 for the slab or crawlspace foundation option. Everything has 9' ceilings, except for the 10' ceiling in the great room, and a 9' to 10' trayed ceiling in the master bedroom. Water heater location is shown in the storage room off the garage. If you choose a tankless type water heater, it could be mounted just about anywhere, including on the outside wall of the house. If you use an old timey tank type, the storage room is ideal.
Q:Do you have a version of this plan at 1300 square foot? Thanks!
A:Hello, Sorry, we do not have a 1300 s.f. version. It would be costly to modify this plan down to that footage.

Q:Hello. Is there anyway that we could have 1 1/2 -2 ft added to the master side so the master bedroom could be a little bigger
A:Hello, Yes, we can modify the plans as requested. The fee would be $450 in addition to the purchase of the plan package.
When you are ready to proceed, please call the website to place an order for the
plan package. Be sure to tell them that you are having modifications done by the designer. They will process the order, and send a copy to us. We will then proceed with preliminary plans for your review. We would request payment for the modification fee when we have completed the final plans.
Allow 4 to 6 working days for preliminary plans, and another 10 to 12 working days for final plans. Timelines change with our workload, and may vary depending on when you decide to proceed.

Q:Would it be difficult to add a sky light or 2 in this home?
A:Hello, Sure, you can easily have skylights added wherever you want them. If you are considering the old timey large ones, like 2'x2' or 2'x4' square or rectangular, the tunnel from the ceiling to roofline will vary in length, depending on where you place them.
There are also other types of skylights, such as the "solatube" variety.. You can do a web search to find out about those.. they really bring in a lot of light, and are much smaller, which means far less area to leak.
The builder can easily add skylights wherever you want them. No need to modify the plans for that minor thing.
