Previous Q & A
Previous Questions and Answers
Q:WHat other exterior elevations do you have with this floorplan?
A:Hello, See plan 60109 for a slightly larger, 2149 s.f. version with a slightly different front.
59952 is slightly different floor plan with a more country style exterior. 59994 is a brick version, hipped roofs, more french country style
24603 is a new plan, so we havent had time to create many alternate versions of it yet.
Check back in the future, as we are always working on new plans.
24603 can also be modified to change the exterior, if you have something else in mind. You can submit a modification request to get a quote for the cost to modify it.

Q:What is the height of rear porch ceiling
A:9' plus the step down between house and porch. Typically, the step down would be at least 4", so somewhere around 9'-4", depending on how far you choose to lower the porch.

Q:Can this plan be built with 8x8 x13 concrete blocks on exterior walls and slab foundation? And a metal roof?
A:Sure. There is a slab foundation option available at no extra cost. Your builder can modify the exterior walls to be block.
Perhaps the intent was to use 8x8x16 block. We are not aware of an 8x8x13 size. The metal roof is an easy site change too.

Q:Can this floorplan be adapted for a full basement?
A:See plan 60106 for the basement version. It comes with a full, unfinished, non walkout type basement. The basement is empty storage space with one egress window with optional window well.

Q:do you have a version of this floor plan that has a double garage in rear instead of carport? size may vary
with this same front elevation
A:Hello, We do have a larger version with a garage. See plan 59995.
Date Posted: 03-Dec-19
Q:Is the slab designed with a brick ledge? Does the roof call for metal or shingles?
A:Hello, Yes, there is a brick skirt all the way around the house, which could be deleted by the builder onsite.
The front porch has a metal roof shown, and the rest of it is shingles. You could of course use either type wherever you like. There is no difference other than the type roofing you wish to use.
