Previous Q & A
Previous Questions and Answers
Q:Where do the exterior stair come out of the basement?
A:There are no stairs from the basement to the exterior. The only stairs to the basement are directly under the stairs going to the second floor. Your builder can easily add an exterior stair.
Q:Hi! If there is a basement, where are the stairs located?
A:It is directly under the stair going up to the second floor
Q:1. Is it possible with the existing space upstairs to add a 2nd bath with just a stand up shower? 2. In some farmhouses I have seen in the past, the half bath could be located under the tallest portion of the stairwell. I wasn't sure if the dimensions make this possible? Thank you!
A:You will not be able to add a bath under the stair because the stair is only 3 feet wide and you need the hallway beyond it to get down the stairs. You can turn one of the closets into a private bath for one of the bedrooms or turn the center closet into a bath and turn the remaining closet into a new hallway between the two bedrooms. You can add a non-walk in closet against the outside wall.
Q:If I wanted to move the things in the kitchen around ( knock out bar have and island with a gas range and double wall ovens , put sink under window and have counters along the walls instead of an area for table) do I modify it with the plans or do I tell the builder?
A:Hi,
You need to get the new kitchen design to your builder. If you are working with a Kitchen designer, they can get the updfated plans to you to forward.
Q:Hi, coukd you tell me the size of the size of the upstairs bathrooms ans the closets? Also, are their photos of this house available to view? Thanks
A:Bathroom – 5’-0” x 7’-9”
Closet – 4’-8” x 7’-9”
We do not have photos available
Q:What are the ceiling heights? Can the pantry, utility, and bathroom be moved next to the kitchen? Thank you!
A:The ceiling heights are 8 feet.
I am not sure where next to the kitchen you would like to move those spaces. You can have a local architect make changes to the drawings. Right now, the powder room and the utility room are directly below the bathroom upstairs. This is the most economical layout.
