A: The basement stair location could turn into a nice hall storage closet or the furnace and hot water heater could be located there. The furnace will be located per mfg. specifications – sometimes they would locate it in the attic space as a horizontal furnace unit. The hot water heater could also be located in the garage storage area. Yes, it could be a trussed roof. Yes, you can change to a 2 x 6 exterior wall - your builder can just do that on site. We can add 2’-0” through the garage / Utility / Master Suite / Master bath area – if you decide that this is the plan you want we can quote you the fee to do that for you. This plan can be built anywhere you want. As in any state, your builder will probably have to make some minor adjustments according to your state and local code requirements.
