A: Our plan does call for 10” CMU walls. Regional standards must be taken into consideration though. If 12” block is more common in your area, I’d use that. Our dimensions are always to the outside face of the wall so no dimensions would change.
A: There are a couple of places I see to add a small linen or broom closet. If you’re not using the basement stair, the space right in front of the door to the stair would be ideal for broom/stor, or it could stick out into the garage if you have a basement. Linen could be added in the hall to the master by stealing a couple of feet from the master wic. The utility could also be extended slightly into the garage to add a couple feet of storage to it.
A: 10’ first floor, Family is vaulted to 14’, Master is stepped to 11’ 9’ second floor, bonus 8’ garage.
A: Total covered area = 5432 SF
A: Yes you can! Please click the "Modifications" tab above to get more information.
